Any firm dates for opening? Pinstripes is in August - so I'm curious when some of the first floor retail (Sur La Table, Taylor Gourmet, Nandos) will actually open...
ReplyDeleteWhere did you hear August for Pinstripes? That building isn't even halfway built yet!
ReplyDeleteThe new pike and rose website with all the new retail options should of been included in this post - as always, its the comments where the real action is.

Bethesda is getting a Porsche dealership, yet we are missing a Hardees, we need a new council.
ReplyDeleteIs the 930 going to have MPDU's to purchase???
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Why do you need two separate photos for REI and 930?
ReplyDeleteDid schilling fake the bloody sock Robert?
ReplyDelete11:01: Yes, every new building must include 12.5% affordable units at a minimum.
ReplyDelete9:43: Hard to say, because nothing official is out there, and each tenant builds out their own space inside. You may remember that, even though Donohoe delivered Flats at 8300 and the Harris Teeter "shell" on-time, Harris Teeter's contractor fell way behind on the actual interior build-out.
So, while I estimate H&M, for example, *could* open this summer, that assumes a timely build-out of their interior.
Pinstripes own website says August. That date hasn't been there for long, so it's not like they need to re-update it. Based on where they are now, that's more than enough time for them to finish.
ReplyDeleteWhen H&M opens at Pike & Rose, that will be the end of MoCo DeadMall.
ReplyDeletePorsche of Rockville... plans to change its name to Porsche of Bethesda"
ReplyDeleteAnything north of Wall Lane is Rockville.
"North Bethesda" = #FakeBethesda
10:13AM, I've been here since 1963 in the house I bought in NORTH BETHESDA. It really does exist. :)
ReplyDelete10:09 AM People who can afford a Porsche (unlike you) are interested in this update :)
ReplyDeleteIt's also covering a rapidly changing part of North Bethesda. That's a major storyline that is part of Dyer's beat.
This is Bethesda. Anybody how cannot afford a Porsche should just move to Rockville. Also, we already have a Bentley dealer, why are should we care about a Porsche dealer?
ReplyDeleteLooking good! Love the iPic theater. So much better than ArcLight, walking out amongst adults and outdoors.
ReplyDeleteRight now those are some ugly looking condos at 930 Rose. The final plan looks good, I hope they get there.
ReplyDelete"Porsche of Rockville's future showroom is also well underway, but the dealership plans to change its name to Porsche of Bethesda upon moving down to Pike & Rose."
ReplyDelete~ this is certain to trigger those who insist that Bethesda is entirely inside the Beltway.

Downtown Bethesda = South of NIH, North of Bradley Blvd
Bethesda - Inside the Beltway (NIH, Downtown Bethesda, Future Marriott, Columbia CC, Burning Tree CC)
North Bethesda - north of beltway, south of Montrose Rd, East of 270 (Mariott, Lockheed, Coventry, Pike & Rose)
West Bethesda - outside the beltway, west of 270 (Congressional CC, Bethesda CC, Montgomery Mall)
1:16 - Bentley moved to Tysons Corner ages ago...but then again, someone who writes a post like that probably isn't actually shopping at Bentley!
