Euphrasie to open at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda (Photos)

Euphrasie is the new tenant in the former Smart Toys space at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. The dress shop is currently loading in inventory. I cannot find any social media or website for Euphrasie, but there is a Euphrasie Fashion Design store in Silver Spring, operated by a local fashion designer.

"Euphrasia (Eyebright) is a genus of about 450 species of herbaceous flowering plants in the family Orobanchaceae (formerly included in the Scrophulariaceae), with a cosmopolitan distribution. They are semi-parasitic on grasses and other plants. The common name refers to the plant's use in treating eye infections."

I guess it sounded better than "Visine".

I am a woman. I don't mind the store as long as it keeps those metal zoo bars intact to cage that scarywear.

I wonder what they feed 'em...?

I didn't realize that dresses could require city planning. Is there sufficient infrastructure to cope with those folds? Will the Purple Line be hindered by the presence of such?

Hey. I just read an article about earthing. If you stand in that pothole puddle barefoot for a half hour, it may remove excess positive charges in your system which contribute to inflammation and fatigue. It's cheaper than sitting in the salt caves.

One more reason actual earth-level green space is important for actual health.

The neckline on the bridal gown is is intriguing-a little techy a little timeless. The black/white stripe is a statement dress. Gorgeous.
But the red gown you can see in both photos is my fave. Shape, movement, style;chic

    Couture? Ready-to-wear? Pop Up?
    I'll check it out.

Yes, every woman should have a red statement gown, and these all have unique flair, tying romance with attitude. I wish Euphrasie much success.

Dyer clutches his pearls over a single pothole on St. Elmo while ignoring the repaving operations on Bethesda Avenue.

And while getting scooped on more stories such as the Steamers site.

  11. 12:14: How was I scooped on Steamers? The small and slightly-failing magazine wasn't even at the meetings for The Claiborne, and I've reported on that development all the way along, including breaking the story.

Their Claiborne and Ourisman Ford reports were rehashes of stories I wrote a long time ago. You're clueless.

How long can they survive re-posting stuff Dyer had days or weeks earlier? They're still print stained in a digital world.

Ooh, Robert. I thought you did hyperlocal news! If I hop up and down because a crocodile just disappeared down that portal, er, pothole, in Nile Green taffeta ... is that hyper and local enough?
