Wilsons Leather to close at Westfield Montgomery Mall (Photos)

Wilsons Leather is closing at Westfield Montgomery Mall. The store is having a clearance sale, with "nothing held back," according to a sign in the window. Wilsons had a decent run at the mall, having opened there in October 2013.

    That's unbelievable. That's just 7 months.

Westfield Montgomery seems to be in freefall, which is interesting since it's supposed to be the county's high-end flagship mall. The new movie theater and food court seemed to have improved things, and it's always packed, but the rest of the mall is like a ghost town. I hope Lucky Strike sticks around.

Westfield is a pretty decent mall despite all of the retailers that have left in 2017. This is happening all over the country . If you want to talk about a bad dying mall, check out Lakeforest in Gaithersburg. That mall has been overrun by MS 13 sketchy people. Now that's a mall that needs to be shut down and be taken out of its misery.

  6. 5:13: Yes, crime and fear of crime have been a major factor in the decline of Lakeforest, which can be blamed on Montgomery County and the County Council for pretending there's no gang problem for the last 20 years. In fact, the Council has been the biggest enabler of MS-13.

What a lie. "the Council has been the biggest enabler of MS-13"

How do you get away with these blatant falsehoods?
All opinion, no legitimate proof. You tippy-toe around defamation laws, but you do manage to stick your foot into it from time to time.

  9. 7:24: That's a statement of fact. The Montgomery County Council has functioned as a strategic partner for MS-13, harboring them in our midst. In fact, the kingpins of the gang in El Salvador just put out an order for their members in that country to urgently head to Montgomery County, and only Montgomery County, according to the Washington Post. They said that because of the high number of illegal students and unemployed illegal adults, MoCo is the prime place to make their stronghold in America against their new rival gang. Ouch.

    Opinion.
Are you even capable of telling fact only?

    Strategic partner = opinion
Harboring them in our midst = opinion
MoCo is the prime place to make their stronghold in America against their new rival gang = opinion

FAKE quote. Another lie. Blatant. Pathetic.
