They didn't just close it and start clearing it out at 8 pm Sunday night. Where have you been?

Robert, I am so relieved to hear your refrain of "shut up, idiot", today of all days. I and other concerned readers were sure that you were being held by police in Nevada this morning.

@11:11 AM, that is super messed up that you would link Robert to such a national tragedy. Karma is going to catch up to you some day and I hope you realize how messed up you are in the head for even trying to make that sort of accusation.

11:23 = Dyer's Mom. She won't admit that she was worried, too.

    "Robert Dyer said...
8:04: Shut up, idiot. They were slowly moving things out, and now I have confirmation they are closing."

    Two thoughts:

    1. This is an offensive attack on a reader of your Blog. No question about it.
    2. It points out a persistent deficiency in your reporting: You will not pick up the phone, or knock on a door, and ask the owner/manager what is going on and what they are planning.

    1. 12:20pm Dyer has great sources, so of course he's talking to people. You speak like you were on Dyer's
      staff.

Same deal on Dyer's EastMucus blog. He reports that a restaurant has been closed, after it's already been completely cleared out.

Imagine if he had taken the same approach with Thai Corner on Bethesda Avenue...

Any updates on Suma restaurant? Looks like they're closed for good.

Also, I drove by Apex today. Police out there ensuring no one walks in the street, and a lane and sidewalk blocked off for "construction" when there is no apparent construction using that lane.

2:50 PM Sadly, the pedestrian enforcement at the Apex is limited hours. Evening rush has no enforcement and folks are still walking in the street. Really dangerous later on in the day with less light/visibility as people continue to flow into traffic.

1:27 PM lol...you're really struggling when you're posting fake traffic stats. Your defamation campaign against Mr. Dyer fails again. Keep quoting those fake traffic numbers. How's blog site doing?

Your assertions about Robert Dyer are laughable. You claimed to be in public meetings with him but were too shy to speak to him. Why all the hate now?

1:18 PM "hes always late on his supposed scoops" And yet, today alone, he has three scoops. Should we believe our lying eyes or believe you?

Another very familiar Dyer talking point.

3:25pm It's how the troll inadvertently outed himself. Same guy at the meetings...couldn't help himself from posting about here. :)

Same guy with a the grievances years later.

    @12:53 PM --

No. Robert reads other Blogs, receives emails, and reads posted signs on windows. And sends emails. He never talks about nor can quote anyone from a meeting face-to-face as a live human being.

According to BlogStat, this site receives:
    Daily Unique Visitors:
    345 Unique Visitors per Day

And has a valuation of $1,841.00 per year.

345 spread across Dyers 6 hobby blogs that's like 60 a site... Those are laughable numbers sport

Wow. So dyer's media enterprise is worth $1400 and the few readers that he has hate him. The things you learn. Actually not surprised on either account.

    1. 8:37: I saw the same post about it in a Bethesda Facebook group as the small and slightly-failing magazine. The only difference is, they refused to answer my inquiries all weekend and today, but strangely gave a tell-all to the magazine today. Obviously another inside job by allies political or otherwise of the magazine. Sad!

In any case, they weren't exactly Bruce Variety or Tastee Diner by any stretch of the imagination. Target audience for story closely resembling that of the magazine: people who still subscribe to glossy magazines. Baba Booey, *****!

Robert, you are delusional. It's actually hysterical that you can't admit that Bethesda magazine is a far better publication than your hobby blog. Always an excuse...so you even read what you write...an inside job about a small business closing? Perhaps people don't talk to you/provide updates because you are NOT LIKABLE?

  23. 5:59: Only not likable to people who are crazed members of a very slim faction of the Democratic Party in Montgomery County. I prefer to keep quiet about Bethesda Magazine, but you seem to want to bring it up all the time. Not smart. Considering I scoop them on almost every story, I'm not sure how they are "far better," unless you like reheated news and relentless positivity about the criminals currently sitting on the County Council. Speaking of "not likable," those clowns were bodyslammed through a coffee table by voters last November who overwhelmingly (Democrats, too) approved term limits.

"they refused to answer my inquiries all weekend and today"

That's a funny complaint coming from someone who regularly ignores questions from readers.

"I prefer to keep quiet about Bethesda Magazine, but you seem to want to bring it up all the time"

LOL. You constantly bring up the "small and slightly-failing magazine." The only reason commenters harangue you about the magazine is because of your obsession with them.

7:36am it's YOUR obsession, Sir. You keep bringing up your magazine here in the comments.
Nobody cares about it. No one wants a print magazine anymore. It had it's time, let's move on.

    7:36 here.

    - Your talking points sound an awful lot like Dyer's.
    - You do realize they have a print magazine AND a digital website...right?
    - It is not MY obsession, ma'am, I do not "keep bringing up" the magazine. You and Dyer seem to be under the same mistaken impression that all the Anonymouses here are a single person.

    Fake name, fake indignation.
Obsessed is using a plethora of fake names to insult REAL people.

With the exact same insults and accusations he used to say to my wife, Anna. He was wrong then. He's most likely wrong now. What a bully.
