Late-term abortionist Carhart to bring abortions to Bethesda

Just weeks after late-term abortionist Dr. LeRoy Carhart appeared to be leaving Montgomery County, he is opening a new abortion office in Bethesda today. Carhart is one of only three operators in the nation who will abort babies in the final weeks before birth, and therefore many of his clients travel long distances.

While Carhart was quiet in obtaining a new facility in the Wildwood Medical Center, his arrival today will be anything but. Pro-life organizations are planning a press conference and rally outside the building at noon today, and a candlelight vigil at 6:30 PM tonight, again outside the building at 10401 Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda. These protests will be held on the public sidewalk in front of the building.

Carhart's new office in Suite 104 at 10401 Old Georgetown is not yet licensed to perform abortions, according to pro-life organization Operation Rescue. The organization says it has filed two emergency complaints with the State of Maryland, and accuses Carhart of trying to perform abortions without a license this week. He has no admitting privileges at any local hospital. At his recently-closed Germantown clinic, at least ten of his patients were rushed to nearby hospitals during procedures, and one woman died during a 33-week abortion.

Already, pressure is mounting on the owner of the Wildwood Medical Center to terminate the lease with Carhart. A website called "Pray for Bethesda" is also asking people to contact the property management company for the building, Alvin L. Aubinoe, Inc., and "tell them what you think!" Many of the other medical professionals in the building may find themselves, through no fault of their own, in the middle of the battle. Some patients are already threatening to cancel their appointments with doctors and dentists in the building as long as Carhart remains a tenant in the Wildwood Medical Center.

  4. There probably won't be an obstruction issue here because the building and parking around it are on private property, compared to an urban center where the building is closer to a public sidewalk.

Late term abortions are a last minute and very unfortunate case when the mother's life is in danger or there's a fetal abnormality. The mother did not carry a fetus for six months and then suddenly decide she didn't want it anymore.

Um...all medical facilities have biohazardous waste.
Biohazardous waste includes the following categories:

Sharps, including but not limited to hypodermic needles, blades, and slides.

    Dry biohazardous waste
Contaminated cultures, petri dishes, and other culture flasks
    Infectious agents
Wastes from bacteria, viruses, spores, or live and attenuated vaccines
Waste contaminated with excretion, exudates, or secretations from infectious humans or animals
Paper towels, Kim wipes, bench paper, or any other items contaminated with biohazard materials

    Liquid biohazardous waste
    Human or animal blood
    Human or animal blood elements
Human or animal bodily fluids or semi-liquid materials

    Human anatomical specimens

Animal carcasses and body parts if exposed to biohazardous materials

    The 'Admitting Privileges' Sham

"I'm sure that when most people hear this term, they think it has something to do with hospitals and doctors but they aren't really sure what. It probably sounds like it just means that if there's a problem with an abortion then a woman can go to the hospital. This isn't what it means at all.

"'Admitting privileges' actually means that the doctor is akin to a staff member of that hospital; among other things, she has the privilege to admit a patient for a stay in the hospital without the say-so of any other doctors. The problem is that because hospitals don't want to become embroiled in abortion politics, they regularly refuse admitting privileges to doctors who perform abortions. For example, doctors at the last abortion clinic in Mississippi applied for admitting privileges to seven hospitals in the area, and were refused at every one.

"So what happens if you're a woman who had an abortion and you find yourself experiencing complications, but your doctor doesn't have admitting privileges at the local hospital? Well, you go to whatever hospital you like (or, if it's a real emergency, the paramedics take you to one), and you get treated. If the doctors at the hospital need to consult with the doctor who performed your abortion, they pick up the phone and call her. Which is pretty much exactly what will happen if your doctor does have admitting privileges.

"If there's ever been a case of woman who suffered some negative medical outcome because her doctor didn't have admitting privileges at the hospital where she was treated, I've never heard of it. I've also never heard an anti-abortion activist explain exactly what will happen to a woman who goes to such a hospital, and why that hypothetical instance is so terrifying that in order to prevent it we must pass laws that put one clinic after another out of business."

    TRUTH:

Much of the controversy stems from a lack of widespread public knowledge of who buys and sells fetal tissue, what it is used for, and what the law allows regarding its purchase and sale.
Scientists have been using such material in medical research for decades to study (and possibly develop cures for) a number of diseases and medical ailments, but commercial fetal tissue transactions take place in something of a legal gray zone: agencies may sell fetal tissue that has been “donated” for that purpose (through abortion), but they may not profit from it.
According to federal law they may only charge for the processing and shipping involved in transferring the material from donor to purchaser, but the law doesn’t regulate how much they may charge.

SJW = "Social Justice Warrior". Someone who is vehemently self-righteous over the pettiest things. They claim to fight against social injustices but are abusive and quick to vilify or bully anyone deemed a "bigot".

Since social injustices cannot be processed under law, they turn to discredit and shame opponents. SJWs will often use labels, twist definitions of words with heavy connotation, make appeals to emotion, and repeat unreliable statistics. They are easy to offend and are quick to police speech. They are major advocates of political correctness in non-political contexts, identity politics, and trigger warnings.

SJWs mainly battle against major sociocultural classes, under the pretense that being a majority leads to better living standards, as opposed to economic/socioeconomic class where living standards are proportional to income. They are the main propagators of "cultural marxism" and its rise in popularity as a term. These sociocultural classes include age, race, gender, nationality, religion, sexuality, among others; often asking them to "check their privilege" (to recognize the benefits of being part of said cultural classes).

    ReplyDelete
  62. Anonymous12:38 PM

SJW shouldn't be a trigger. There are three different spins on the meaning of SJW.

    1. Person who is genuinely passionate about social justice issues. This meaning of SJW refers to an individual focused on learning, critical thinking, and sharing learned information with others. This SJW is concerned with being fair and balanced, as well as helping to promote the voices of people in disadvantaged groups.

    2. Person who uses causes of concern to SJWs to create argument and debate for personal attention, rather than furthering the cause or being an agent of change for the larger movement they're arguing on behalf of.

    3. Person who takes social justice issues to an extremist viewpoint of overblown political correctness, often without a clear base of knowledge on the issue but relying on personal opinion. It is this meaning of SJW most often used as an insult by anti-SJWs.

"Political Correctness" the avoidance, often considered as taken to extremes, of forms of expression or action that are perceived by SJW's to exclude, marginalize, or insult groups of people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against.

Example - Government workers in Seattle have been told that they should no longer use the words “citizen” and “brown bag” because they are potentially offensive.

    WAY TO PEACE

Back in the day, the PP founder sounded a bit like an amalgamation of Donald Trump/Harvey Weinstein/Hitler:

-keep the doors of Immigration closed to the entrance of certain aliens whose condition is known to be detrimental to the stamina of the race, such as feeble-minded, idiots, morons, insane, syphiletic, epileptic, criminal, professional prostitutes, and others in this class barred from entrance by the Immigration Laws of 1924.
-apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization, and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is already tainted or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.
-to insure the country against future burdens of maintenance for numerous offspring as may be born of feeble-minded parents, the government would pension all persons with transmissible disease who voluntarily consent to sterilization.
-the whole dysgenic population would have its choice of segregation or sterilization.
-there would be farm lands and homesteads where these segregated persons would be taught to work under competent instructors for the period of their entire lives.

Immigration: Open the gates of the U.S.A. to those countries whose inhabitants have the inherent talents and national characteristics desirable, eliminating entirely those countries whose subjects have already been difficult to assimilate.

It's the same old 'Hillary gave 20% of our uranium to Russia' BS that was debunked a long time ago. Right-wingers are so gullible and easily manipulated. Even the rest of the Right Wing Noise Machine isn't running this non-story.

We've heard from women who've made the difficult decision to abort, we've heard from those who were a fetus before being born into difficult circumstances that others might have thought hopeless, but we never hear from the victims. No one can speak speak for the "terminated," though some advocate for fetal life, no one speaks for those who die by the choice of another.

    RWNM's 'Spectacular Bombshell' debunked here

"Clinton, who was Secretary of State at the time of the deal, did not have the power of veto or approval over the deal with the firm. Instead, she was one of nine cabinet members and department heads collectively charged with advising the president on potential national security issues with such transactions.

"The timings of the donations don't match either; of the alleged $145m allegedly contributed to the foundation by investors, most came from a single donor who sold his stake three years before the Russia deal."

Debunking the debunkers? The Clinton campaign "fact-check" highlighted the fact that Giustra sold his stake "three years prior to the sale" of Uranium One to Russia.

But Giustra's firm, Endeavour Financial, remained Uranium One's financial advisor well after its acquisition of UrAsia, casting doubt on assertions that he severed his ties to the company before Hillary Clinton became secretary of state.

Clintons and their foundation took in $145 million in donations and "speaking fees" from Russian Oligarchs whilst Crooked Hillary was Secretary of State.

There are only two explanations for the unprecedented surge in donations from Russia to the Clinton Foundation.
    1) A "spontaneous outbreak of philanthropy among eight Russian associated with Uranium One"
    2) Rank Corruption

Clinton official emails show extensive connections between Hillary, the Clinton Foundation and “donors” during her time as secretary of state - a criminal conga-line of people asking for favors from Hillary and donating to the foundation.

No matter where you are on the political scale, it’s undeniable that Donald Trump succeeded in branding Hillary Clinton as “crooked.” Last fall there was a survey that showed that for more than 80% of Americans the first word associated with “Crooked” was Hillary. I suppose that association has weakened a bit, but it will never go away.

Politics aside, it's a very interesting case study on branding.

Allegedly, branding is his forte. He's good at that. Branding and distraction chaos.

    Remind you of anyone?
