Wow Cellphone Repair closes in Bethesda

Wow Cellphone Repair has closed at 4934 Hampden Lane, in the Shoppes of Bethesda. The repair shop, which fixed phones, tablets, computers and game consoles, opened only a year ago. Previously, this space had been leased by the sales office for The Lauren condos.

    "WOW" is "MOM" turned upside-down.

Dyer reports on MOM cell phone while Bethesda Magazine reports on development at Bethesda Metro Center. Who is slightly failing? Dunno, but if you ask me - this blog is completely failing and getting scooped.

No surprise it shut down. Never had any customers. Location was OK (especially the free parking), but there's not that just demand for that service.

That was pretty funny. He looked like a religious but with his big Jesus sign.

Robin was mobbed by residents thanking him for delivering term limits.

I was there for maybe two hours and he was mostly standing there with his sign and speaking to individuals as they walked by. There was no mobbing.

Dyer deleted a comment about Robin Ficker quicker than he did one about his mom.

    The Original Sin of Westbard.

Explains why Robert Dyer was secretly born so far from his lifelong home.

The Original Sin of Westbard was desecrating an historic African American cemetery (not to mention swindling folks out of their land).

The sick irony is the County Council and their Planning Board are about to do this again, all in the name of the almighty dollar.

We've learned nothing from history. We need to preserve and protect the cemetery and add a museum so another future government never repeats this tragedy.

This place has been closed for weeks. Even the ceiling light fixtures have been cleared out.

@1:03 Blame the landowner of the cemetery who sold the land 50 years ago. The current landowner had nothing to do with it.

Here is what Robert Dyer is not telling you about the reason why the mediation session was cancelled:

"The commission’s executive director, Stacy Spann, declined to participate in a third mediation, concerned that issues raised in the first two sessions were not kept confidential and sensitive information ended up in the lawsuit pending in circuit court, according to county officials.

Issues 'alleged in the complaint were very close to what we had discussed in the mediation,' said Ramona Bell-Pearson, assistant chief administrative officer in the County Executive’s Office. 'The HOC director became very concerned.'”

  14. 9:38: Not only are you just plagiarizing that from the Washington Post article, but that article was very biased in favor of the HOC. I've read the legal filings; there is no such "leaked" information in them. Total malarkey. Did the reporter fact check HOC's claims?

How do you know this, Robert? Did you attend the mediation sessions, too?
