Burst pipe closes Redwood for tonight at Bethesda Row

Redwood will be closed tonight due to a burst water pipe. The restaurant on Bethesda Lane is cleaning up, and using fans to dry out the space. They hope to reopen tomorrow (Wednesday) or Thursday.

  2. What about the pipe or whatever is causing running water down Bradley near wisconsin? There were 6 cars solidly coated in ice all day

How come B&N gets doubt on why they closed but redwood doesn’t?

  4. 5:00: Maybe because they were actually running fans and cleaning up inside?

Makes sense! So it looks like Barnes and Nobles is open and it was a heat issue. What made you think it wasn’t a get issue at Barnes and nobles?

Robert, will you announce that Barnes & Noble has reopened, or just leave your readers thinking it is still closed?

8:39 AM His article stated when B&N was to re-open. Did you read it?

8:50 AM - Here is what Dyer reported:

"Barnes & Noble is scheduled to close forever at Bethesda Row on January 11, 2018. But patrons this weekend have been surprised to find the doors already locked. The store closed at 5:00 PM yesterday, and won't reopen until 9:00 AM on January 3. Is this an early closure, or a way to clear more time to pack up inventory? Barnes & Noble says a "heat outage" [note scare quotes] is to blame for the closure."

He gave his readers the impression that it would not reopen as promised. He needs to publish an update.

Dyer is the only local journalist with media critics.

Dyer is also the only local journalist who criticizes other local journalists. Lol.

When do respected publications (whether digital or print) badmouth and compare themselves to other publications/journalists?

    Never.

Are you counting the "bloggers" that post nasty stuff anonymously here?

Which “bloggers” do that? And what proof do you have they are bloggers?

  10. More silliness this afternoon!

Really, 12:38? How would you know who posts anonymously? They're anonymous.

And I bet 12:05 didn't count all the NYT or WP "journalists" that post anonymously either.

2:23 PM nope- Dyer signs every comment.
Meanwhile, other local bloggers write the weirdest things here...anonymously of course.

Other local bloggers are posting anonymously here all the time. Of course they won't sign their names because their comments are defamatory.

  15. Really, NewRugby and 8:32?
How would you know who posts anonymously? They're anonymous.

This is always where this was headed. Chapter 1 of Dyer's playbook: accuse your opponent of what you’re accused of.
    Projection is a cruel mistress.
