The Pho Pop-Up restaurant is now open at 4901-A Fairmont Avenue in downtown Bethesda. They are serving 3 varieties of pho: Beef, chicken, and vegan mushroom. Spring rolls are available as a side dish. Their hours are 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM daily - including Sundays now.
Why no mention of TapaBar?
ReplyDeleteBecause it closed. The Pho Pop Up is inside the TapaBar space.
ReplyDeleteIts laughable how bad the Tapas place and management was there, cant imagine this place is worth going to. They used to charge $9 for a piece of pretty small piece bread with cheese...LOL...and they blamed the neighborhood when they went out of business.
ReplyDeleteWhy not mention that? It's possible that people reading this had not read BB over the holidays, and did not know about TapaBar closing.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the sign for "Pho Pop-Up" has the logo of "TapaBar" on it.
7:34: They didn't need "BB." I reported the closure of TapaBar a couple of weeks ago. They already know, old sport.
DeleteThis is a Greenhill property, isn't it? Does Dyer ever report on anything that isn't owned by either Federal Realty or Greenhill anymore?
ReplyDelete7:37 AM Greenhill and FRIT happen to be big retail players in Bethesda. Along with Westfield of course.
ReplyDeleteActually, it wasn't clear. It gives the address the Pho popup is going into and you see the old TapaBar. Your 7:12 comment said it but the article didn't.
ReplyDeleteReaders asking for reasonable clarification and offering constructive criticism and it’s taken like a defensive child.
ReplyDeleteAte here tonight and the food was not good. Better off going to rice paddies.
