Canopy by Hilton to open March 15; Baked Bear, Starbucks, Uniqlo stake out territory at Pike & Rose (Photos)

Canopy by Hilton hotel overlooks
L.L. Bean and Rose Park at
Pike & Rose
Baked Bear and Uniqlo are coming to Pike & Rose, and Starbucks is moving to a different spot in the development. All 3 want patrons of the Federal Realty property to know their arrival in these new spaces is just around the corner. New hotel Canopy by Hilton (above) will arrive even sooner: their grand opening is now set for next Thursday, March 15, 2018.

Baked Bear, a gourmet custom ice cream sandwich shop, will be located in the L.L. Bean building overlooking Rose Park. Uniqlo, the highly-popular Japanese apparel retailer, will open this fall at 11853 Grand Park Avenue. And Starbucks' future final location has changed yet again - it will now be by H&M at 11860 Grand Park Avenue. The ubiquitous coffee shop will make its move this summer.

So I actually was wondering this morning. If this is a news site, will suburban news network show ads for other county council candidates?

I’ll give you 50,000 reasons Robert doesn’t cover other candidates. Wait, 50,000 was the number of votes Hans beat Robert by.

Why no article on the cemetery protest at the HOC office on Wednesday afternoon?

    Did no one show up?

No one covers the MoCo retail/restaurant beat like Robert Dyer!

Seems like there's some update everyone morning I get up.

Breaking news at Westfield Monkey Deadmall!

Where is Mr. Suburban News Network Journalist?

    ReplyDelete
  7. 6:04: That's the best clickbait one since Bethesda Now's #FakeNews years ago that falsely claimed an "active shooter" was inside the mall. Totally bogus. They were scooped by NBC 4 on tonight's "story," to boot. Copy and paste from another website, no actual on-scene photos, no source given (a.k.a. plagiarism), and not even a byline on it. Sad!

5:06: The cemetery precincts came in strong for Riemer.

Poor, poor Robert. Still saying 50,000 zombies voted for Reimer. Was he selected as president of the councils by unicorns, too?

  8. They also just got the news about Spice 6 - over two months after I broke the news about it opening at the mall.

Whenever you make these attacks, you end up looking like a complete moron. Will you ever learn, Mr. Ex-Con?

6:04 PM here. I was actually referring to the Washington Post's report, not Bethesda Magazine's report, which came slightly later. But it just demonstrates Dyer's obsession with them.

3:04pm is a wonderful example of why term limits were enacted. Folks on the Council and staffs are so out of touch and indecent, they're bullying folks by calling them "retarded".

We can do better than 3:04pm and his ilk.
