First look at the new Bethesda Bagels at Bethesda Row (Photos)
Bethesda Bagels is hoping to reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, March 14, 2018, after a lengthy renovation of the store's interior. Here's an exclusive first look at the results. Bethesda Bagels is located at 4819 Bethesda Avenue.
Looks nice, but just moves the bagel prep to the back. I really preferred when the employee who took your order made your bagel . So much more personal that way . The new way of taking orders faster than they can be made is frustrating .
Much better. It was chaos on a busy day because one person took your order and made it, but they walked along the counter while doing it. Are you supposed to go along with them, or stay in your place?
It'll be much more efficient this way. The bagel place in Rockville (mall next to Target.. forgot its name) does it this way. One person takes your order, then another calls your number when it's ready.
Not the first look. I and several hundred Bethesdians saw it before you did.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the purpose of the 3rd picture? Serious question. What are you trying to feature in picture 3 that wasn't in picture 2?
ReplyDeleteThe third photo shows part of the "Tropical Smoothies" sign, but not the whole front counter. The second photo shows the whole front counter. LOL
ReplyDeleteBy exclusive do you mean available to anyone who walks by the front windows?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it!

Agreed. The old system was chaos.
DeleteAs long as their landlord doesn't jack their rent, they'll be pumping out hot, fresh bagels for many more years to come.
ReplyDeletelooks the same to me, except the floor and the counter...
ReplyDeleteThank god they did something. The place was looking like a real dump before.
ReplyDeleteYes, walk with them . Visit Essa bagel in NYC on a Saturday morning amazing what they can do .
