Righttime Medical Care has leased the remaining ground floor retail space at 4507 Stanford Street in downtown Bethesda, property owner Washington Property Company announced Wednesday. It's about time downtown Bethesda got one of these, as similar clinics have opened in Rockville and downtown Silver Spring recently.
With nighttime, weekend and holiday walk-in hours, Righttime can treat common illnesses and minor injuries. They will occupy 5,550 SF of space on the first level; C-Unit Dance Studio has already leased the upper floor. This building formerly belonged to the family-owned Mark Keshishian and Sons rug shop, which moved to Rockville after 50 years in Bethesda.
Enter Washington Property Company last summer, which recognized a prime urban retail opportunity. “We acquired this building to grow our retail holdings in downtown Bethesda,” WPC Vice President Joshua Gurland said yesterday. “This is a great location just off Wisconsin Avenue, and across Stanford Street from the complex housing Target, Trader Joe’s, and other businesses.” Streetsense and KLNB also played key roles in reaching the deal with Righttime.
There's already a great urgent care clinic (locally owned too) on Old Georgetown Road across from Lilit Cafe -- MedOne Urgent Care.
ReplyDeleteMedOne is dangerous. The only time I have ever had a reaction to medicine was when it was handed to me at MedOne, and it was dangerous (affected organ function and caused days of severe pain). My wife also had a poor experience at MedOne in which medicine was again handed directly to her but yielded no improvement in health and required a second prescription from another physician.
DeleteThere are much better—and safer—local Bethesda doctors around. I know others who have been fine, but two-for-two experiences with my family at MedOne have been downright scary.
There are multiple UrgentCare options in downtown Bethesda.
ReplyDeleteI love MedOne Urgent Care.
There’s also Bethesda Immediate Care in the Rosedale Park apartments already. Pretty good place. 7 days. Walk in.
ReplyDeleteI go to MedOne all the time, since my normal doctor always has a 2-week wait (do they think I'll still be sick 2 weeks later? If so, I've got bigger problems!). Never had any issues, and great care.
ReplyDeleteThere are about 4 parking spots in front of that building.
ReplyDeleteThis is great news. I avoid the poorly run ER at Suburban like the plague.
ReplyDeleteMedOne is really great. My experience with RightTime is like that of the "120 Minute Clinic" at CVS - there is never a Right Time for RightTime Medical Care.
ReplyDeleteIs there parking near this facility? The urgent care center on Old Georgetown Rd has 3 or 4 in th back of the building which unfortunately was full when I was trying to visit. (I believe that the spots were taken by staff of the clinic) Needless to say, I didn't see a doctor there because who wants to search for parking while feeling ill.
ReplyDeleteI read that last sentence too fast and thought it said, "Streetsense and KLNB also played key roles in reaching the deal with the Russians."
ReplyDeleteSounds like this article was mistaken.
ReplyDeleteThe author will never admit it.
Delete7:24, he still hasn’t.

5:44/7:24: If you ever go public with your identity, so many people will be taking swings at you on the street that you'll need an urgent care clinic.
ReplyDeleteTwo innocuous comments get this violent threat in response? Dyer is losing it.
ReplyDeleteRighttime is the BEST!! The staff are so caring and friendly and the providers are very experienced. I have never had one bad experience. I am so glad they are now serving the Bethesda community!
ReplyDeleteDon't go to MedOne. Terrible experience there and very rude doctor. You will be much happier if you pick Righttime!! The staff truly care for you and my kids love getting popsicles and balloons every time.
ReplyDeleteGreat news! I love Righttime.
