Amazon Books Bethesda Row exclusive sneak preview (Photos)
Here's an exclusive sneak peek inside Amazon Books, which looks fully-stocked and ready to open any minute at Bethesda Row. You'll notice that you can pay for merchandise with your Amazon account on your phone at the store. The store also features an Amazon Launchpad section, which carries products by startup companies. It is located at 7117 Arlington Road.
A head-on photo through a window? Where is your reflection?

I still don't get this retail concept. Why would I go to the Amazon store to see a subset of books, without reviews and popularity ranking, when I can go to Amazon.com for a richer experience (and a download to my Kindle)?
ReplyDelete5:07 This store will be one of the most popular in all of Bethesda Row. They are offering all the reviews, etc you are talking about and much, much more. Ever need to return an Amazon order? Well, you would have to go to College Park to their return center which hasn't even been there that long. Now, you'll browse music, books and devices while returning your Amazon orders free.
ReplyDeleteWhen Anthropology closes, I would look for Amazon to move there. They will do really well across from Apple which is obviously strategic. But they'll crush it at the center of the Row at old B&N.
