Five Guys is not new to either Rockville or Bethesda, but this new one at Montrose Crossing on Rockville Pike will split the difference. The familiar checkered tile, counters and even the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine are in place. No furniture yet, though.
There must be a mistake here. This is listed on the Rockville blog as a “Rockville Construction Update.” It can’t be both. Unless we’re just recycling content so the blog looks less moribund?
ReplyDelete7:50am I hope you're paid per dumb comment. No one is looking for your local media critic act.
DeleteFive Guys isn't new to North Bethesda either - the current Five Guys is across the street (literally) at 12238 Rockville Pike.
ReplyDeleteAnd while you crept, Marriott broke ground in the Real Bethesda. SCOOP!

ReplyDeleteI'm not Dyer. I know he haunts your dreams and you obsessively follow him.
Get higher standards for local media- press releases are not scoops!
9:16 AM Now is a good time to remind everyone that Hans Reimer was arrested recently.
ReplyDeleteWhy is that relevant?
Delete12:26 PM a press release sent to everyone is not a "scoop".
ReplyDeleteDo you understand what a scoop is?
Dyer needs to give a journalism seminar in Bethesda. Educate other aspiring journalists on digital, explain what a scoop is, etc.
ReplyDeleteClearly from the anonymous comments here, there is a need to educate.
2:02pm plenty of opinions in our local legacy media but little in the way of holding those in power accountable. Simply publishing stories councilmen ask you to isn't journalism!
DeleteWill you attend Dyer's journalism seminar?
I love what Dyer is doing for MoCo with his news coverage.
Delete5:21 AM ROTFLMBAO! Good One.
