Stabbing at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda (Photos)

Exclusive photos

A man was stabbed at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda around 5:30 PM this afternoon. The stabbing took place at the Nordstrom Marketplace Cafe, and the victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. According to police, one male suspect is in custody.

The Nordstrom wing of the mall was closed down by police tape from the escalators onward. Some stores, such as Bath and Body Works, chose to close early. However, police said there was no immediate danger to anyone else at the mall today.

My goodness, this report was posted 20 minutes BEFORE the incident took place! How is that possible? I didn’t realize Mr. Dyer was psychic.

This is how malls die. One violent crime on the premises, and BAMM, they're in a death spiral.

This would not have happened if Nordstrom's hadn't fired their piano players.

If you want to find out how it actually happened, other than just "a man was stabbed", you need to go to the old local legacy print media.

    1. 8:04: The desperation is strong with this one. I have the only photos of the crime scene you will find in any local media. And the full report. People are laughing at you right now.

Dyer has the only report from the crime scene.

There's quite a pool of blood at the Nordstrom entrance in Dyer's photo.

  7. 9:53: They don't have the photos, chump. Bye bye.

The link you just deleted most certainly did have photos of the crime scene.

You can't just make the truth go away by deleting it.

    1. 10:08: Wrong! Photos of the women's department at Nordstrom are not "crime scene" photos. People are turning to my report for the only, exclusive photos from the scene, as it happened.

You can keep posting spam links, but it doesn't change the facts that my shoe leather reporting and photos beat everybody on this story.

Anybody can copy a police press release, but they can't go back in time to the scene 24 hours later. I have the best report, which is why people are coming to this site for the real story and actual crime scene photos.

Dyer @ 10:59: Wrong! Caution tape is clearly visible in WJLA’s photo & video, with the crime scene just beyond.

Dyer has the only crime scene photos I've seen- the pool of blood outside the Nordstrom entrance.

There are too many black people in this mail. They are attracted to it by the Cheesecake Factory which all blacks love. Notice the photo of the suspect? This is just unreal. Thanks a lot assholes! Now instead of mall cops you'll see MoCo police walking through the mall not something anyone wants to see during their shop. Imagine the parents with young kids across from there at Hanna Andersson. Absolutely shocking. Westfield needs to do something or else this will become the new Wheaton Plaza.

Funny how the only comments in support of Dyer came after midnight, and just a short time before Dyer himself commented.

Apparently the WJLA reporter wasn't able to get to the actual scene of the crime. They have some shots far away, perhaps in the women's department- not near the coffee bar.

#UnsignedDyer @ 6:40 AM - The video in the WJLA report clearly shows the police tape from just a few feet away. They just didn't feel the need to show the puddle of blood like a tabloid.

6:50am the stabbing wasn't inside the store. Why are you arguing about this anyway?

"Why are you arguing about this anyway?" he posts just one minute later.

The stabbing wasn't on the second floor, either.

6:56am Again, no one else had images of the actual crime scene. Cool folks were inside the store, but not the same thing.

I'll let you have the last word! Fire away..lol.

  14. You took pictures of crime scene tape before the others and included a gross splotch of blood that others conscientiously decided to withhold?
Good for you. Go get a gold star from Roald.

  15. 6:50: Sorry, punk, the women's department of Nordstrom was not the crime scene.

WJLA took a photo of the crime scene from inside the store, looking out to the cafe.

You took a photo of the crime scene from one floor up, actually farther away.

    ReplyDelete
  17. 5:41: One floor up, and yet I had the actual crime scene, while they simply had a good view of the newest fashions in the ladies department. Advantage: Robert Dyer.

6:32: You realize your remark is directed at the guy who actually had real photos from the crime scene? Do you even realize how stupid you sound? Dumb and Dumber level IQ.

Dyer, you keep citing "Journalism 101". Have you ever actually taken any courses in Journalism?

    ReplyDelete
  19. 7:49: Considering I beat all local media on the Montgomery Mall stabbing story, it would appear I passed the course with flying colors.

Each day Dyer grows more into a petulant imbecile like his champion Donald Trump.

  21. Journalism 101 is much more than getting the story out "first."

I should know. Out of the 2 of us, it seems I'm the only one who took and passed the course...me, the accountant.

  22. 7:55: Don't you think it's more than a little suspicious that all of your comments are negative against me? If you were a real person, as opposed to a staged troll persona, you wouldn't always have the same slanted opinion on every single issue. It's a tired old act.

Well yeah, when an entire group is kept from enjoying economic growth for centuries via federal policy. And where there is poverty there is going to be crime. What do you expect?
