Barnes & Noble sign removal at Bethesda Row (Photos)
Workers finally removed the large Barnes & Noble sign from the facade of the shuttered bookstore at Bethesda Row last evening. Anthropologie and Terrain Cafe will open in the vacant space later this year.
They'll be putting up an Amazon sign when Anthropologie fails.
ReplyDeleteThis needs a picture with it completely removed...for closure.
ReplyDelete11:05 AM Why would you come to a Bethesda news site for info on a DC diner closing?
ReplyDeleteWhy would one come to a Bethesda news site for info on new signs at Puke & Rose? That's twice as far from Bethesda as the diner.
ReplyDeleteThe only MoCo diner news recently was about the Lakeforest Silver Diner contents being auctioned off.
DeleteAs reported by Dyer's local digital news network.
Will be nice when Tesla finally opens there in August.
ReplyDeleteEven more moribund than the dead mall.
ReplyDelete(Is "mormoribund" a word?)
@7:33 it's early, but it looks like the Amazon store way be a dud.
ReplyDelete6:42 AM Looks like a larger airport/train station type book store.
ReplyDeleteNot really equivalent to Barnes & Noble in any way.
Same size as a B. Dalton, Waldenbooks, Brentano's or Crown Books. Book superstores are no more.
ReplyDeleteAlways about the size.... ;-)
