Kusshi to host soft opening at Pike & Rose next week

Be one of the first to experience Kusshi at Pike & Rose when they hold their soft opening next week. The Japanese restaurant will open to the public this Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Soft opening hours will continue through 10:00 PM on October 25.

Kusshi is named after the "ultimate" Japanese oyster, and that namesake delicacy will be available on the menu. Sushi is also on the menu, along with other Japanese specialties, sake and cocktails. Food will be 40% off during the soft opening.

The restaurant is located at 11826 Trade Street - park in the Trade Street garage, and you can walk right out onto the plaza in front of Kusshi from the elevator.

    Pike and Rose is a disaster. Way too tight, way too crowded and parking isn't easy. I went to Downtown Crown for the first time recently. Man, is that a nice project.

      9:09am high-rises are great, but I'm interested in community benefits too: new retail, nightlife, public spaces, a return of multiplex movies to the downtown, etc.

      9:09 - No, it's the same. Pike and Rose was great initially but the build out is too much for the space. Thanks for the insult now bugger off!!

    It's a disaster because they've built too much in too tight a space and driving within the center and parking aren't easy. What about that don't you understand? And your implying that it's very successful and that's common sense, etc. How do you know that it's a financial success? That has yet to be determined.

      Yes, those two lane, 15 mph P&R roads are really hard to navigate. And they've got three whole highrises! Everyone I know has been, so that's how you know it's a disaster!

    Pike & Rose isn't doing that badly - the problem is that it's cannibalizing of all of Federal Realty's other properties between Rockville Town Center and Bethesda Row.
