Lash Cosmo to open Bethesda location

Lash Cosmo, an eyelash extension studio with an existing location in Wheaton, is opening a new location in downtown Bethesda. It will be located in the same building as V Nails, at the corner of Auburn and Norfolk Avenues. The second floor space was most recently home to the campaign headquarters of Roger Berliner, an unsuccessful candidate for Montgomery County Executive (who now probably wishes he had sat out the primary, and parachuted into the general with a bank safe of developer cash like Nancy Floreen).

Make up your mind - is this a news blog, or a campaign blog? It can't be both - it's a huge conflict of interest.

May Lash Cosmo have more success than Roger's campaign!

  3. Just think, in a few weeks we can say the same of Mister Dyer---an unsuccessful candidate for Montgomery County (who now probably wishes he had parachuted into the general with a bank safe of developer cash)

Since you mentioned Nancy Floreen - why don't you also mention that she supports ending the County's liquor monopoly?

I love the subtle way you have used Lash Cosmo to "lash" out at your political advisories. You funny like Bob Hope!

  6. 8:36: You have no problem with the political slant of other media outlets in the area - only this one that criticizes the County political cartel?

I am not running against Nancy Floreen - check your ballot.

Dyer actually showed up at the Taste of Bethesda. I was impressed. Well, just about the fact that he was out in public in the daytime, not much else. He was walking around with his sign and getting as much attention as a panhandler with a coffee cup. I didn't realize what a little runt he was until I saw him in person. No wonder he's always obsessing about "being tough behind a keyboard", because that describes him exactly. Also, he's balding in back and his ponytail emphasizes that rather than hiding that. He should go to his brother's barber, he has a much better haircut.

After this disappointing experience I went over to the Bethesda Magazine booth and chatted with the nice people there. Made me feel a little better about the state of humanity.

I also noted that he was wearing the same purple shirt that he seems to wear everywhere. Not ironed, wrinkly as hell. Not a good look. I wonder if he has even washed it anytime recently.

Thanks for the photo of the garbage truck turning around on Wisconsin in your Best of Bethesda article. I think it really added to my understanding of your blog.

I saw Robin, but not Bob the Builder yesterday. Robin looks strong, Dyer not too much.

2:40pm has his beefcake posters of Robert and Robin up on the walls of his crawlspace.

Last time, the usual county council suspects turned up. Surprising it was only Dyer and Ficker this time around.

Robert: You should update your sign to indicate what office you're running for.
