Robert, if you fail to be elected to the Montgomery County Council tonight, will you work together with the new members, and the new County Executive, to help implement your dream of being able to buy booze at every crappy convenience store and gas station in Westbard?

Delete@8:04 - That's a Maryland legislative issue, not one specific to Montgomery County. I don't know your district, but I am in 18, so I'll be writing Al Carr, Emily Shetty, and Jared Solomon to encourage them to review the current law and change the "single owner" rule currently on the books.
ReplyDeleteAs for the County DLC, that affects restaurants more heavily than individual consumers, but it does negatively impact the variety of liquor County residents can purchase. I don't mind going to a liquor store to purchase hard liquor, but I do get annoyed seeing the variety available in Prince George's or DC that we just don't get here.

Remember, the police busted up a driver's license mill the week before the election. How many registered to vote using those licenses and other similarly-produced fraud documents?
ReplyDelete8:42: Suze, there's no difference between changing that law, or the law the County got changed about growlers, for example. It only requires the Council to make the request in Annapolis. All liquor law changes must be made at the state level, but this Council isn't asking for them.
Well, it looks like you'll enjoy another four years of buying liquor from the County only!

What’s that? It’s NOT a requirement? Oh! Well then I guess the “driver’s license mill” had nothing to do with trying to defraud you of 150,000 votes.

ReplyDeleteReality check: Voter registration occurs, among other places, at the MVA, when you acquire or renew a.......driver's license.
Of course you're not asked for ID when you vote. The illegal voter has already registered illegally through MVA using the falsified documents.
No wonder the number of graves in the cemetery precincts magically doubled in only four years for the cartel Council At-large candidates.
8:07: They will be. I await the precinct and turnout-by-party numbers to do a full fraud analysis for anomalies. I've seen them in 2010 and 2014, but this one initially appears to be over-the-top. The numbers don't add up for me or Amatetti. I'm not necessarily claiming I would have won without the fraud - the colluding Post with no coverage of the Council races made it impossible to change the narrative - but that the numbers are clearly skewed lower than they should be for Ed and I, and ridiculously inflated for the cartel winners.
Let's have a full investigation, including the apparent collusion between the cartel and the Post.

ReplyDeleteDo you realize that the "three precincts not counted over 48 hours after the election" means that they are counting absentee ballots?
9:37: I've already documented several. Absentee ballots are not "precincts;" they are counted countywide as a whole in several rounds. Through 2018 primary, election results have always shown 100% of precincts counted by sometime the next day after the election.

Provisional ballots can take longer. Provisional ballots still matter in elections. They are counted on the second Wednesday after each election even if it does not affect the outcome.
