Firefighters respond to EagleBank building in Bethesda (Photos)

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm at the EagleBank building at the corner of Woodmont and Fairmont Avenues before 8:00 AM this morning. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services and Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad personnel entered the building, but it appeared to be a false alarm.

"I doubt you want to open a discussion about the Kensington Crash Pad the MoCo cartel hosts journalists new to the County in on a temporary basis. You many recall when the defunct Bethesda Now launched, one of its first stories was about the Kensington Labor Day parade. WTF? Remember, Bethesda Now only covered Bethesda, of which Kensington is not a part.

"Several BB reporters have filed similar early dispatches from Kensington, as they stumble across stories while living in the crash pad. Who owns the crash pad? We only know its a friend of the MoCo cartel who wants good news about the cartel's politicians.

"Potential Pulitzer Prize story, if the Post actually covered Montgomery County. They haven't covered the Council general election AT ALL. All their MoCo political articles are about "look how many people are running for County Council/Executive!!!!!!!" Real Ed R. Murrow stuff. LOL"

His story about a girl ordering a burger at this place with a 'fuck ton of mayo' was the most read story in his short, but sad career as a journo. Not exactly local Edward R.Murrow Award stuff. I can see why Reamer loved him so.

Has anyone ever given an endorsement, a testimonial, or even any kind of compliment to Robert Dyer, anywhere outside of his own blog, with their own name actually signed to said endorsement/testimonial/compliment?

The cemetery precincts came in strong for Riemer! Too bad thousands of Democrats switched their vote from Hans to Robert Dyer, and Riemer finished dead last among the winners.

Dyer had a much better rant on this subject on his RockvilleNutz blog this morning.

"LOL - did you miss when nearly 70% of voters approved term limits in 2016? But then two years later, supposedly voted for candidates who will vote the exact same way as the bums they term-limited?

"A voter universe [there's that weird phrase again. -Ed.] that expanded by 100,000 voters in only four years, 3 precincts not counted several days after the election, a driver's license mill busted by police days before the election, tens of thousands of expired names still on the voter rolls, deflated vote total for the only candidate in the At-Large race with actual name recognition in the County, collusion with the Washington Post and other media outlets to write nothing about the general election Council races, collusion with community organizations and civic associations to cancel their debates.

"Those are some of the issues so far, but let's wait until the precinct-by-precinct results are released to find the anomalies at specific polling places (as I noted in 2010 and 2014)."

"Too bad thousands of Democrats switched their vote from Hans to Robert Dyer, and Riemer finished dead last among the winners"

You would have to be a total idiot to gloat that the candidate who received three times as many votes was "last among the winners." If he's a winner, what does that make you?

"thousands of Democrats switched their vote from Hans to Robert Dyer"

As usual, wishful thinking on your part.

    Dyer - increased 2,733 votes, 3.6%, 2018 over 2014

    Riemer - increased 95,612 votes, 72%, over 2014

More likely there was slightly higher turnout among Republican voters, though not anywhere near as high as the increase in turnout for Democratic voters.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Anonymous2:14 PM

    2014

    Dyer, Robert REP 75,404 8.63%
    Fiotes, Chris REP 68,179 7.80%

    2018

    Dyer, Robert REP 78,137 6.2%
    Fiotes, Chris REP 72,034 5.4%

    Dyer - increased 2,733 votes, 3.6%, 2018 over 2014

    Fiotes - increased 3,855 votes, 57% over 2014

As a percentage of the vote, however, both Dyer and Fiotes decreased.

Looks like Republican voters ignored your request to vote only for you.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anonymous2:21 PM

More importantly, your share of the total vote decreased from 8.63% in 2014, to 6.2% in 2018.

"The Russian conspiracy theories from the 2016 presidential election are dangerous too yet they're mainstream now."

The several dozen indictments during the past year suggest to reasonable people that it's not "conspiracy theories".

    ReplyDelete
  27. 4:07: Those indictments are a joke that won't stand up in any but a kangaroo court (which a D.C. or NoVa jury might qualify as). Mueller didn't even expect the Russians he indicted to fight back, then quickly stopped pressing that line of attack when they did. #Oops.

Mueller is so desperate, he's had to resort on inventing crimes via interviews. The big scandal no one is covering is the Deep State's attempted coup of a duly-elected President. You know, the same Deep State that assassinated JFK, RFK and anybody else challenging their plans.

2:21: More importantly, these vote totals are tainted and incorrect.

2:14: Check again, *****. The vote clearly shows about 6000 very smart Democrat voters wisely switched their Riemer vote to me.

11:13: It makes me an honest person who doesn't have to resort to voter fraud and tampering and collusion to win an election.

"The vote clearly shows about 6000 very smart Democrat voters wisely switched their Riemer vote to me."

    Dyer - increased 2,733 votes, 3.6%, 2018 over 2014

    Riemer - increased 95,612 votes, 72%, over 2014

Even if every single one of the 2.733 additional votes you received in 2018 over 2014, was from "very smart Democrat voters wisely switched their Riemer vote to [you]", where do you get "6,000"? Please show your work.

"Those indictments are a joke that won't stand up in any but a kangaroo court."

So why have several of the defendants already pled guilty?

    ReplyDelete
  29. 5:00: Because they are old men who are facing life in prison on trumped up charges.

Your math is terrible - look at the gap between me and Shelly Skolnick, then look at the gap between Hans Riemer and Will Jawando, and you will see that smart Democrats indeed switched their Riemer votes to me.
