Sotheby's International Realty coming to Bethesda Row
Sotheby's International Realty is coming to Bethesda Row. They will take over the space on Woodmont Avenue next to Anthropologie & Co. Sotheby's currently has an office in the Barlow Building at 5454 Wisconsin Avenue in Chevy Chase.
Wow, a new realtor in town. Just what we need to increase foot traffic. Let’s see, I need to stop in and get a nice cup of coffee from Philz, pick up my new iPhone at the Apple store, and swing by Sotheby’s and get that new penthouse in the Lauren. Yeah, I’ll take the one that overlooks the vacant Kapnos, or was that the vacant Vapiano. I heard it might become a new Firestone tire store...
Philz...or Joe and the Juice? Decisions, decisions...
"A few doors away from Joe and the Juice? Usually a landlord doesn't put similar stores that close. Most commercial leases limit what businesses can be in the same project. Nothing to do with what is close with a different landlord. But Federal Realty doesn't care about their tenants."
"Fed Realty used to protect their lessors. This is another clear example, IMHO, that they care only about their bottom line. Why Quartermaine's or Joe's endures it is a mystery even after FRIT has the audacity to install Pieology, which they own, next to Mamma Lucia? This isn't sustainable for all."
2018 is closing to the end and "anonymous" has the same grievances and musty old insults about Robert Dyer. Some things are constant I guess, even in our rapidly changing city that Dyer is covering daily for us.
8:27 AM translates as "I can't quit you, Robert Dyer" Wonderful way to head into the holidays.
This is really going to activate that block. Not good for my wallet though. Only thing that was keeping me from buying more houses was not walking past a luxury realtor every day.
Is Luna closing?
ReplyDeleteOMG THEY'RE REPLACING TASTEE WITH A MARIJUANA DISPENSARY !!!!!

Seems like maybe the ‘ol anti-spam needs to be cranked back up a smidge.
ReplyDeleteAnd another moribund night spot is closing.
ReplyDeleteThat's weird - the article above claims it was posted at 5:00 AM (Dyer Time) but it didn't actually show until just a few minutes ago.
