McDonald's Donut Sticks now available in Bethesda

Today is the nationwide launch of Donut Sticks at McDonald's, and they have been available for several days in advance at the McDonald's at 5214 River Road in Bethesda. The fried strips of dough are coated with cinnamon and sugar, and come in 6 and 12-piece sizes. They are only available during breakfast hours. A 6-piece order cost me $1.99.

    Dyer: Post a review. Do they come with a dipping sauce?

    I just watched the review. Looks good and I'll plan to try them soon.

    Not sure why you come down on the County Council because of the 6% _state_ sales tax McD's charged you. Shouldn't you be getting mad at our state delegation on that one?

    Sales taxes (and booze excise taxes) are the only taxes that Deadbeat Dyer pays. That explains his anger.

    Sauerkraut = "Liberty Cabbage"

    French Fries "Freedumb Fries"

    Churros = "Donut Sticks"

    Take that, illegal Mexican MS-13 banggangers!

    I will remember this report on "Donut Sticks" every time I see an aside by Dyer like: "Good thing Post reporter Jennifer Barrios is deep undercover writing about the Handlettering Society of Silver Spring. Keep the hard news coming, LOL."

  9. 5:13: Food and restaurants are major parts of the hyperlocal news coverage on this website, have been for many years, and you know that, Saul Alinsky. Nice try.

    Meanwhile, it's legitimate to criticize a reporter who is assigned to hard news political coverage of Montgomery County for writing about the Handlettering Society, and you know that, as well.

    Nice try, Saul!

  10. Actually, that's a lie. You're just making that up. BooHiss at you.
    Political coverage is only PART of her job.
    She's assigned to cover "Montgomery County."
    You've probably "never met or spoken to the woman."

    Again with the envy.
    Is that your motivation for everything? Gosh, it sure seems like it.
