Brightview Bethesda nears finish line in Woodmont Triangle
Construction of the Brightview Bethesda, an assisted living apartment building at 4907 Rugby Avenue, is in the home stretch as far as the exterior goes. When complete, Brightview Bethesda will house 113 units, with independent living, assisted living, and memory care residential options.

This looks like a nice addition the the Woodmont Triangle. I like the way it forms a terminated vista when viewed from the new Gallery Lane Plaza. I believe they will be installing a lighted art piece on the wall that will make this even cooler. Too bad the view at the other end is so bad.
ReplyDeleteStill not a fan of the tan brick that seems to dominate this neighborhhood, including the new police station.
It’s nice that a facility like this is part of the city fabric and not tucked away on cheap land on a suburban site. Healthier elder residents will be able to participate in the city life, or at least have nice views. It’s nice to see urban solutions for seniors who want to stay connected, but might still need a bit of help. I bet that large glass dining room on the top floor that overlooks the neighborhood will be a great space with tons of natural light.
Signs of life at the northern tip of town!
