Maintenance blocks off sections of Garage 49 in Bethesda
Heads-up if you need to park underneath the Metropolitan in downtown Bethesda near the Metro Center. Maintenance underway in the Metropolitan Public Parking Garage 49 at 4805 Edgemoor Lane is blocking off some sections of parking.
Rather than posting four lame photos of empty garage spaces, forcing readers to scroll to read the article, it would have been more useful if the article had indicated which parts of the garage are closed.
@ 7:01 - A better "Pro tip" - the level and aisle numbers can't be seen at all on a smartphone, and can be barely seen on a full-size monitor when the image is viewed by itself.
It would have been far more reader-friendly just to copy the County's press release below, and note that "as of March 7, Level G1, Row B was closed for repairs." (All four photos show the same level, same row.)
"Partial closure at Garage 49 in Bethesda
"Currently concrete repairs to the decks are being performed by our contractor in Garage 49 (Metropolitan Garage). The repair work will be ongoing through June 2019. During this period sections of the garage (partial closure) will be closed to facilitate this work. Only up to 25 percent of the garage will be closed at any one time. Pedestrian access and traffic will be maintained in the garage at all times throughout the duration of this project."

7:57 AM "Smashburger Provides Customer with F*** Ton of Mayo"
ReplyDeleteYou're right! Dyer needs more "news" like that. Maybe sprinkle in tonight's specials at Growlers?
8:48 AM You'll always have the mayo story at the top of your resume. Good luck.
