Washington Capitals mural at Bethesda Row (Photos)
Have you seen the "All Caps" Washington Capitals mural on Bethesda Avenue at Bethesda Row? It's opposite the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad mural on what is officially Hagar Lane, but looks like just a driveway to access the parking behind businesses along Bethesda Avenue.
More of this and less of what we got on Arlington Road and at the Bethesda Metro Station.
ReplyDeleteWe really need an advisory group to help with the art around our downtown.
Agree, especially re Metro "art."
DeleteGo NY Islanders! #nocaps
ReplyDelete@Tom Andrews - this art was presumably funded by Federal Realty, so a public board likely wouldn't have had a say in it. For the art on County-owned properties, I think the Bethesda urban partnership does have an advisory board.
ReplyDeleteALL CAPS!
ReplyDeleteWhere did the mural go?
