Sneak peek at Prima at Bethesda Row

Construction continues at Prima, the fast-casual Italian concept from celebrity chef Michael Schlow replacing Taylor Gourmet at Bethesda Row this month. One new detail that has come to light is that the menu will feature bowls and salads heavy on vegetables and healthy protein options, like slow-roasted salmon. None of the menu items I've heard about so far are traditional Italian dishes, but we can still hope there will be Fettuccine Alfredo or Spaghetti & Meatballs on there somewhere.

Spaghetti & Meatballs isn't a "traditional Italian dish". It's an American invention. Just go to the Westbard Giant and buy yourself a can of Chef Boy-Ar-Dee, Mr. Philistine.

7:40 AM In addition, Fettuccine Alfredo is NOT healthy, it's more like at heart attack in the making, so don't count on it being a part of this menu. Stick with your Marie Callendar while your at the Westbard Giant.

Seriously...this is like going to Paul's and asking why Pop-Tarts aren't on the menu.

But what do you expect from someone who whines that there are no Olive Garden restaurants in our County.

Why isn't Dyer speaking at this conference considering how influential he is with his blog?

@ 12:51 - Mostly developers, however if you look further down the list, Dyer's boy Hans is speaking as well.

  7. 1:24: Hopefully he doesn't forget the cue cards his staff will write his speech on for him. Riemer is tilting at windmills on his way to a sound defeat in the 2022 Democratic primary for County Executive.
