Developer Carr Properties has posted welcome signage around the construction site of their 7272 Wisconsin Avenue project saluting the future tenants of The Wilson, the 29-story office tower portion of the development. Fox 5, WeWork, and ProShares are among those mentioned.
The Wilson office tower is 29 stories tall, not 29. The Elm apartment tower is 29 stories tall.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting if We Work signs a lease, with all of their recent financial problems. Many landlords are now having second thoughts.
ReplyDeleteSorry, the Wilson is 23 stories tall. My bad.

ReplyDeleteI believe WeWork has already executed its lease. They just aren't signing any new deals. This is their only location in Montgomery County, so I don't see them backing out here. The pace of their expansion in DC though has been ridiculous.
WeWork needs a strong CEO. If they can lure someone like John Legere, they have a chance.
ReplyDeleteGotta love it when y’all attack Dyer for something he didn’t do.
ReplyDelete6:34 AM says “it’s 29 stories, not 29” is the sort of thing Dyer would write.
Dyer’s writings are models of accuracy compared with the semi-literate drivel y’all post day after day.
You see, that’s the level y’all operate at. “Slam yourself into a table”. What wit! What felicity of expression! What sophistication!
ReplyDeleteStill, you may be at least potentially a finer fellow than you appear. Address your anger issues, aim for a bit of substance occasionally, and develop your personality in the time left over from posting your daily drivel — and you may become more than a waste of space. Good luck!
12:06 PM christ, get some perspective.
ReplyDeleteit's a neighborhood blog.
What's a ProShares?
ReplyDeleteDyer stated the Wilson will be 29 stories tall, when it actually will only be 23 stories tall, That's a fairly big mistake in my book.
ReplyDeleteOf course it was just a typo, be he always seems to threaten others when they state incorrect facts.
I just want to see if he owns up to his mistake.
It is just a neighborhood blog, but one that claims to be hyper-local and always accurate.
"Address your anger issues"
ReplyDeleteHe's back...projecting and gaslighting as usual.
Yea but he really sucks at it.
