Tenleytown Target opens to huge crowds (Photos)
Customers are lining up in droves at the new Tenleytown Target store, which opened at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and River Road N.W. in Washington. The store has a CVS Pharmacy, and is well-stocked for Christmas and holiday shopping. As I've mentioned before, this store is larger than the downtown Bethesda Target, but smaller than the Rockville store.
Looking forward to this and more hyperlocal DC area coverage!
ReplyDeleteHuge crowds in copy. Empty aisles in photos. Trumpian "huge" I guess.
ReplyDeleteDamn, people--- not even 10 a.m., and already everyone's got his/her snark on. . . .
ReplyDeleteOnce again, a completely apolitical post draws the trolls.
"Opens To Much Fanfare"
ReplyDeleteNever a good omen. I give this place 6 months, tops.
We should believe the trolls, who never visited this store, over the on scene reporter? Lol
ReplyDelete6:51 AM You've never gone on a Target run if you think you'd ever leave with an empty shopping cart.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this Tenleytown you speak of? I was told Metro trains turn back at Friendship Heights.
ReplyDeleteDoes the CVS in the Target mean that the CVS across the street (up the block) has closed? Just wondering. Having Target come in to this old Sears space is great. It looks much better than the tiny one in Bethesda where the parking is so challenging. It will be nice to combine my shopping with the Whole Foods across the street by using the shared garage.
ReplyDeleteGreat news for fans of Target, but I'd rather have the Best Buy still there.
ReplyDeleteAnd still no reporting on Comet Ping-Pong or the white supremacist rally at Maggiano's.
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean Dyer will be creating a Tenleytown blog soon?
