Lotus Grill & Bar closes in Bethesda
Lotus Grill & Bar has closed at 4929 Elm Street in Bethesda. The Indian restaurant opened in May 2019. Owner Suman Pradhan said the impact of the coronavirus pandemic was the reason for the closure.
5:41 AM The only clown in the room is YOU and your ilk for finger pointing, and blame shaming a business due to the epic conditions of a pandemic. Do the community a favor and pull that imaginary mask (cause you don't sound intelligent enough to wear a real one) over your elephant trunk and STFU!
@7:47 AM: Yo genius, I'm not blame shaming the business for closing. I'm blaming the incompetent clowns governing Montgomery County and Maryland for making the effects of a pandemic even worse on businesses, and for creating impossible conditions for a business to be in business. Prima, PassionFish, Lotus.... How many more businesses have to close under the leadership of these government buffoons? If you weren't so ideologically blinded, you'd have understood that. No such luck I guess.
I know these are unprecedented times but is this the fastest restaurant closure? So fast that I barely remember hearing about it at all.
ReplyDeleteThere goes another one..... Way to go Job Marc/Travis/Gov. Hogan!!!
ReplyDeletePretty soon we'll only have breadlines and government cheese.
Downtown Bethesda is being gutted one restaurant at a time because of these clowns.

the clowns that don't want to eat indoors during a pandemic? yeah
ReplyDelete@5:05 Didn't that Soup place where the vacuum cleaner repair store used to be close faster? I think it was called "Soup Me" or something.
ReplyDeleteSo much for "unity" and "let's all get along" huh SocialNorm. Pretty sure he's blaming the government and not the business.
ReplyDeleteFuse Taco might've had a shorter life.

ReplyDeleteYou're right. That soup place was faster.
