Montgomery County police responded to a report of a home invasion in the Bannockburn neighborhood of Bethesda off River Road Friday night. Journalist Alan Henney reports three black males wielding handguns entered a home in the 6500 block of Elgin Lane. Allison Papson of Fox 5 describes the home invaders as two males wearing masks.
The intruders pointed their guns at the home's residents, and ordered them to open the home's safe and give them money. The suspects then escaped in a dark-colored BMW, Henney reports, and remain at large as of this writing.
