Gaithersburg-based Berries & Bowls is expanding to downtown Bethesda. A source tells me that the superfood cafe has leased the former Spring Mill Bread Co. space at 4961 Elm Street in the Shoppes of Bethesda, across from Bethesda Row. Their existing Kentlands location is known for its fresh fruit bowls, juices and smoothies.
