There still isn't an opening date, but each milestone reached in the completion of Ensemble at 4856 Cordell Avenue continues to tantalize. As of yesterday evening, the electronic menu screens on the left wall inside have sprung to life, showing menu items for each of the restaurant brands that will be available for takeout and delivery from what is shaping up to be the ultimate ghost kitchen in the DC area.
Stay tuned for an opening date. For now, ponder existential questions such as, "how will that Honeymoon Chicken sandwich stack up to the Popeye's sandwich?"
