Weekend closures of Little Falls Parkway in Bethesda appear set to return for 2021 before the end of the month. Montgomery County is placing signs in the area today announcing the parkway will close on weekends between 7:00 AM on Saturdays and 6:00 PM on Sundays beginning March 27. Last year, the closures impacted Arlington Road south of the driveway entrances to Safeway, as well.

ReplyDeleteThey're only planning to close the portion of Little Falls Parkway between River Rd. & Arlington this Spring. The section between River Rd. & Mass Ave. will remain open to vehicles.
ReplyDeleteLittle Falls Parkway seemed to be the Autobahn of Montgomery County. Cars regularly travel 25-30 mph above the speed limit through this stretch. It's ridiculous.
