Car stolen in Cabin John
Montgomery County police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in Cabin John yesterday morning. The vehicle was taken from the driveway of a home in the 7700 block of Tomlinson Avenue, according to crime data.
I wish stats were kept on how many of these stolen vehicles were left unlocked by the owners, if known. I would be willing to bet many of these are unlocked and some with the keys nearby.
@8:41 AM: Blaming the victims. Well done. I guess you'll do anything to make these crime stats look better. It doesn't change the fact that the crime happened. These criminals were prowling around in search of a criminal opportunity and they took it.
I'm sure there are some stats you'd rather not know about though because it would make you uncomfortable. Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong about that.
