Storm causes power outages in Bethesda
A thunderstorm with heavy lightning passed through Bethesda tonight, leaving some Pepco customers without power. There are currently 3 power outages in Bethesda as of 11:18 PM tonight. One in Glen Echo Heights affects fewer than 5 customers, and is expected to be fixed by 7:00 AM Tuesday morning. A second near the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and Bradley Boulevard will be repaired by noon Tuesday. Power is expected to be restored to 31 customers near the Rochambeau French International School inside the Beltway by 3:00 AM, Pepco says.
