Oh well, too bad. Those BLM/Biden-Harris/Hate Has No Home Here signs posted around the area didn't deter or prevent the criminals from stealing these vehicles. Guess you needed to call the police you wanted to defund.

Don't you have a strict commenting policy, Robert? How does constantly mocking victims of crime not run afoul of it? This guy is just awful.

Have MoCo Police heard of using bait cars to catch these criminals?

Robert: Could you put that question to MoCo Police and get them on record for what they're doing about this?

@6:35 AM: Your tribal politics won't let you have real empathy for the victims of these crimes. Unlike you, I'm not mocking them and I have real empathy for them. Real empathy involves having the courage to tell them to support politicians and policies which actually prevent crime and catch criminals. You just don't like to hear how much you've failed the MoCo community in allowing things like this to happen with such frequency.

@7:17 AM: The least you could do is special "boring" correctly. Also, a better word choice would be "substance".

@6:35 AM - Seriously, buy a sense of humor if it really bothers you.

@8:01 AM - You need to ask Marc Elrich and Will Jawando about this. The MOCO Police have their hands tied with the BS coming down from Rockville.

I'm still not clear on what it is you all think the police can do about it. I'm not being antagonistic, I'm genuinely puzzled. What would the police do, stop all cars entering or leaving neighborhoods after a certain hour? Have checkpoints on River Road or Western Avenue, checking IDs and vehicle registration of every motorist? (And for it to survive a legal challenge, it would have to be for *every* motorist, not just the ones who look like they don't belong in $80,000 SUVs.) What is the game plan that follows "Vote Republican?"

@2:29 PM: Here's what the Police can do about it: The police can be properly staffed and fully funded to set up bait cars all around areas of MoCo in which these thefts have occurred in order to catch these criminals and lock them away for a long, long time. You shouldn't have to "Vote Republican" for this to happen. This anti-crime strategy should be supported by those who "Vote Democrat" as well. Why isn't it? It's because of what's happened to the Democrat Party: The Democrat Party has become extremist to the point where being anti-crime now means that you're labeled a racist. Democrats never want to face the reality that their policies have failed the community.
