No gas lines, but fewer choices at some Bethesda gas station pumps
There aren't any lines for gas like we saw earlier this year in Bethesda, but at least one gas station is experiencing supply line issues, and it's worth noting these signs and trends. The Exxon station at 8240 Wisconsin Avenue hasn't had premium fuel for several weeks, only regular grade and diesel. There are no reports of gas shortages in the United States right now, but it's very unusual for a station to be out of premium gas for an extended period.
Why would anyone buy gas at either Exxon station in Bethesda, or the one in Glen Echo? Those are the most expensive in the area. With just a mile or two more driving, you can save 40 cents a gallon.
ReplyDelete@4:55 PM: Have you really moved the goal posts to say "it's too expensive there so why should people buy it there" from the actual issue here that it's not available for purchase at all, and hasn't been for some time now?
