Milling work has begun as a resurfacing project gets underway on Woodmont Avenue between Cordell and St. Elmo Avenues in Bethesda. On the one hand, this might be premature, as two high-rises are planned for this block - meaning heavy equipment rolling over this roadway. On the other hand, one of those plans (8008 Wisconsin) seems to have totally imploded, and the other (public parking lot/former Sir Walter Raleigh's Tavern) has stalled out.
