Here's something not seen for several years - an open sidewalk along southbound Wisconsin Avenue (MD 355) at 7750 Wisconsin in downtown Bethesda. Sidewalks slowly opened up around the site as the office tower and hotel project nears completion. Both are scheduled to open next year.

Robert, thank you for this. I would also welcome a future report from you on the nightmare at the corner of Wisconsin Ave at the former police station site. An entire travel lane, not to mention sidewalk, has been completely out of commission during the entirety of the pandemic or roughly approaching two years. It's nearly done so again, I'll look forward to seeing you post when it opens up again. And keep in mind, the closure starts right at the former Tommy Joe's site across from Metro elevator.
ReplyDeleteThe closed travel land on Montgomery will never open up to cars again it is slated to become a bike lane.
