Here is one of the newest public art installations in Montgomery County, at the Collection at Chevy Chase in Friendship Heights. "Scamp" is sculpted out of steel, and is just one of six creatures to find around the property as part of the Crittergami exhibit. They are designed to be climbed on by kids, and of course, to join you in selfies to post on social media.
Scamp's description says he can teach you many things, including "be prepared, work hard, and always pack a snack." All of the sculptures were created by New Mexico artist Kevin Box. Staying in during the omicron wave? The Collection has a downloadable Crittergami coloring book kids can enjoy at home.
