The new development now under construction at 7000 Wisconsin Avenue has just gotten a name: The Camille. A 14-story apartment building, The Camille will house 181 residential units and 5894 square feet of retail/restaurant space. It's an all-local project, with Arlington-headquartered CBG as the developer, Bethesda-based SK+I Architecture as the designer, and Tysons-based Rappaport handling the leasing of the retail space. The Camille is scheduled for a September 2023 delivery.

I hope there's an Armand's pizzeria in the commercial space.

Yeah. This is the one they knocked out half a block of old stores to build ! These NEW Apartment Buildings are going up up and down Wisconsin Ave in Bethesda like Hotcakes !!!
ReplyDeleteBethesda has clearly become the most Successful Suburb in all of Maryland thanks to all this Development ! None of this would have ever happened without the METRO having been put in up here back in 1984.
Thanks for the update. But its not 11 stories tall, it’s actually 13 stories tall on the Wisconsin side and 14 stories tall on the public alley side. They were allowed one extra floor of residential because of the high percentage of MPDU’s, plus there is the very large penthouse level on top.
