Hidden corridor at Bethesda restaurant revealed by demolition now boarded up (Photos)

A hidden corridor and windows that were exposed by the demolition of next door neighbor Bethesda TV & Appliance Co., Inc. on Fairmont Avenue are hidden once again. The corridor at Bistro Provence has now been boarded up. Bistro Provence remains open for business. Demolition operations on Fairmont and on St. Elmo Avenue have been for the future St. Elmo Apartments development, which will be directly adjacent to the building Bistro Provence is in.

  1. Is this the project now named Daiwa House?

  2. That is the name of one of the development partners in the project, but the building is still being called "St. Elmo Apartments." I suspect they will choose a more trendy branding before it is completed, though.
