Police respond after Bethesda resident throws contents of apartment onto street below
Montgomery County police filed an emergency mental health petition with the state of Maryland, after a disruptive and potentially-dangerous situation unfolded on Cordell Avenue in Bethesda late Saturday morning. According to a witness, a resident on an upper floor of the apartment building at 4715 Cordell began tossing the contents of their unit down onto the street and sidewalk below. Police were called at 11:49 AM, and the response ultimately included eight police cruisers and two ambulances. The building, Cordell Place, provides permanent housing for the homeless with supportive services.
8 cruisers and 2 ambulances responded, but PoPo has been defunded by the MOCO Democrats I read here everyday. Maybe there was a shift change. Maybe some armed citizen should have pulled out their gun and stepped up to stop it. Rittenhouse, where were you?
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's way harsh stretch, but life is full of slippery slopes. Encouraging folks to use deadly force to protect other folk's property is dangerously close to the edge.
I'm guessing it wasn't a piano... Who knew going to get takeout Golden House would turn into a dangerous adventure. Oh, and this incident is a perfect example of why MPDU's in regular apt buildings suck ass.
ReplyDeleteBetween democrats giving billions of taxpayer money to Ukraine and housing homeless and illegals in hotels and apartments is it any reason that generation Z has no work ethic
ReplyDeleteyes, jobless folks who smoke weed all day are exactly what you want as your apartment neighbor.
ReplyDeleteIt's not an "MPDU". It is a homeless shelter.
ReplyDeleteI legitimately can't tell if 5:33 is mocking Republican talking points or not.
ReplyDelete5:33 is dead serious and spot on. A little common sense truth to brighten my morning. Too bad there is so little of it around here.

So an ultra high value piece of real estate is being wasted on -ah forget it. People like 10:18 have swallowed the Leftist baloney hook, line, and sinker - and will NEVER admit their policies are doomed to fail.
4:40, Middle class taxpayers are the only group of folks who don't qualify for a "safe space" so far as the MoCo power structure is concerned.

ReplyDeleteI'll put it in terms you can understand: Crime inflation is outpacing funding inflation.
Detroit liberals loved liberal policies until their houses were worth $10…Bethesda here we come!
ReplyDeleteDetroit? The non sequiturs on here are literally the dumbest I've ever seen.
