A report of a 2nd-degree assault drew a substantial response from Montgomery County police Monday evening in downtown Bethesda. The assault was reported in the 7800 block of Wisconsin Avenue, outside of the 7-Eleven convenience store. Four police cruisers converged on the corner of Wisconsin and Fairmont Avenues at 8:20 PM. Officers had just been to the store a little over an hour earlier, after something was stolen there.

The assault was reported in the 7800 block of Wisconsin Avenue, outside of the 7-Eleven convenience store. Four police cruisers converged on the corner of Wisconsin and Fairmont Avenues at 8:20 PM. Officers had just been to the store a little over an hour earlier, after something was stolen there.
They really need to hurry up with the redevelopment of this corner. That 7-11 is pretty sketchy.
