Montgomery County police responded to a report of an aggravated assault in downtown Bethesda Monday night, October 24, 2022. The assault was reported in the 6900 block of Arlington Road at 9:00 PM. A weapon other than a firearm was employed in the assault.
Of course there was.
ReplyDeleteIf you aren't seriously considering getting a Wear & Carry Permit with the proper training or at the very least carrying pepper spray and a compact tactical flashlight with you, you should be.
Bethesda is really going downhill fast. Everyone needs to arm themselves and be aware at all times. It is impossible to predict when something is going to happen which is why we need to be prepared. The dems ran out the cops and the ones that are around barely do anything because of how they are treated. All we can do is protect ourselves.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to DTSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it's critically important that you know the law if considering carrying a firearm. Know that like the back of your hand and get an insurance policy specifically designed for wear and carry permit holders. Lastly, if you don't feel confident or comfortable leaving your home or business with a handgun, for goodness sake, at least get the Kimber pepper spray device. It's affordable, easy to carry in a pocket or purse and is 100% legal. That's a minimum. This will get worse believe it or not. Wake up before it's too late and send Marc Elrich home.
ReplyDeleteBreaking my heart
ReplyDeleteGrew up in Bethesda where people didn’t have to lock doors
Kids were safe going to Montgomery mall
Teenagers coukd hang out in Bethesda
So sad
Becoming Detroit chicago
I sohope even democrats can vote Cox to stop this insanity
5:37 - I hate to tell you but Cox doesn't have a snow ball's chance. In MoCo, Sully Reardon at least has a shot. But having a Dem of Wes Moore's stripes in Annapolis will really make MD tough to live in. Sad days indeed are coming.
ReplyDelete@2:43 PM: Absolutely right on all counts. USCCA or CCWSafe are some good carry insurance options to consider.
ReplyDeleteCox is incoherent on most policies. That is why he doesn't have a snowball's chance.
ReplyDeleteIf you read Wes Moore's website, he is committed to giving Police more resources, but also expects accountability. Wes Moore is endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police.
Moore already has a huge spending agenda in place so while everything is already more expensive get ready for another tax and spend liberal.
ReplyDeleteThen there’s his book...

Wes Moore is a wolf in sheep's clothing don't be fooled.
ReplyDelete@5:37 -- Your and others' posts about being heart broken at what downtown Bethesda has become/is becoming reminded me of a commentary by Charlie Cook (of the Cook Political Report) from a few years ago, before major changes really started to take off.
ReplyDeleteThe title of his piece is "I hate what Bethesda has become," and he talks about how "new development is stripping downtown Bethesda of its charm and appeal"
