Assault in yard of Bethesda home
Montgomery County police responded to a report of a 2nd-degree assault in the Springfield neighborhood of Bethesda late Thursday night, December 8, 2022. The assault was reported in the yard of a home in the 5300 block of Cromwell Drive at 11:04 PM.
I'm not sure why reports like this are relevant, by themselves, to readers of this blog. In some of these situations, the people involved might already have known each other before a personal dispute got out of (or allegedly got out of) control. As opposed to an assault committed in the course of, for instance, an actual or attempted crime like a burglary, robbery, or car-jacking.
