Bethesda's newest CVS Pharmacy at 7235 Wisconsin Avenue is getting closer to opening. The store is now hiring three positions: store associate, shift supervisor, and maintenance associate. Employees already hired are now stocking the shelves. Boxes of merchandise are stacked up on the sales floor awaiting shelving. It's the classiest CVS around, with chandeliers left over from the original tenant, Riggs Bank (a.k.a. PNC Bank).

What does this mean for the CVS on Cheltenham?
ReplyDeleteSuze, I have heard no talk of that location closing so far.
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah, fill out your application so you can work at a drugstore and risk injury or death if you don't just idly stand by and watch thefts of 64oz laundry detergent bottles...
ReplyDelete@3:01 PM Says the QAnon leftover. If you fear life so much move to another state. May I suggest Floriduh!
ReplyDeleteHuh? None of the jobs posted have anything to do with stopping shoplifters. Weird comment.
ReplyDeleteIf either CVS closes, it will more likely be the Arlington Road Store, which is smaller, has no Minute Clinic, the building is not owned by CVS, and the parking situation is not great.
ReplyDeleteYes, the Arlington road CVS has been withering on the vine since the pandemic started. Not even 24 hours anymore.
