Second assault in a week on Cromwell Drive in Bethesda

Montgomery County police were called to a home on Cromwell Drive to investigate a 2nd-degree assault for the second time in a week on Wednesday morning, December 14, 2022. The assault was reported at a residence in the 5700 block of Cromwell at 8:25 AM. That's two blocks up the street from where the first assault was reported in a yard on Cromwell on December 8.

Were these domestic assaults? Many of these incidents reported are such and falsely enhance the nature of your reporting. This results in a rise in the fear factor regarding the crime rate. You should use caution in what you post in this area.

Mood follows action and domestics can spill over resulting in problems elsewhere, so, in effect, Robert's reporting is not the issue here @10:19AM, your tone and agenda is.

About a week ago, I posted pretty much the same thing 10:19 did, in response to a similarly vague "assault" report here.
It's one thing to hear about actual or attempted carjackings or break-ins or "random" assaults in a particular area, but "assault" by itself, particularly if it could well have been in a domestic situation or otherwise among people who know each other, doesn't give anyone "actionable" information.
Unless, of course, you want to blame specific politicians or parties for it, or use it as another reason to arm up.

"use it as another reason to arm up."
Don't need a reason to 'arm up.' Constitutional right and all that, you kno.

It's my given right to express the opinion I feel is appropriate to the situation @3:09PM, don't like it, STAY IN YOUR LANE! My opinion is, apparently in line with that of @6:33AM, something else may be at play on this street other than run of the mile, fear monger neighborhood crime.

In related shocking news; https://wtop.com/montgomery-county/2022/12/man-traveling-from-new-york-suspected-in-18-potomac-md-vehicle-break-ins/. Looks like the perps of many of these crimes are outsiders, and caucasians at that. Well, whaddayaknow.

So, "I'm packing, because, y'know, why not?"
In the words of Hunter S. Thompson, who was himself no stranger to the gratuitous use of firearms, "bad craziness."

8:05, (SN), should examine what they wrote. On one hand, you're admitting that crime is happening and that at least one of the "perps" are traveling from outside the area. On the other hand you seem proud that they're caucasian. Violates your "lock-your-car" narrative of opportunity crimes all while throwing race into the mix when that has no bearing at all.

This is how liberals think, putting race out there first whereas a normal functioning society would believe in a colorblind meritocracy, (in crime as well). Unfortunately so many liberal-run areas have decided otherwise resulting in the chaos we have today.

3:27 (Alias) Looks whose triggered by the racial factor. YOU seem to be the one when a story id's the race of the perp not being what most readers are thinking. I guess the truth really hurts, especially for you cons who repeatedly use the "they" term for racial id'ing those not of your ilk. Your ilk can be dealt with appropriately just by proving how wrong and stereotypically based your mindsets are. Try locking your car and unlocking your narrow mind.

Hey 7:51, gaslight much? It wasn't 3:27 who brought up race but called out the race baiting and there you are. I'd make popcorn but you're too far down the rabbit hole.
