The Exxon gas station at 7975 Old Georgetown Road in downtown Bethesda was fenced off last night. Signage was dark, and prices were no longer shown for the various grades of gas. An underground fuel tank maintenance firm vehicle is parked on-site. Tank Tech retrofits and relines, inspects and repairs fuel tanks.
This doesn't mean the station is closed permanently, as they may just be repairing or replacing the fuel tanks under the pump bays, as has happened at a number of stations which reopen days or weeks later. Large dirt piles can be seen within the fenced-in area.
Another sign of the desolate wasteland that Bethesda has become.
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't pay me to operate a gasoline filling station in this time of hate towards anything petroleum.
ReplyDeleteThe war on petroleum is being waged by people banging away on plastic keyboards, how ironic.
5:47 Can you tell me what else is desolate in Bethesda? I’ve lived here since 1985. Lots of changes but certainly not a wasteland. Anyways if you could actually read, the article is about fixing the underground tanks. If that makes you feel desolate then sorry for you.
ReplyDeleteDid they finally figure out that charging nearly a dollar more per gallon than any other station in the area, is not the greatest business model?
ReplyDelete547 gonna stand by the woke p China balloon blowing destruction of usa by democrats with his last dying breath
ReplyDeleteThey just can never admit they are wrong until their homes are worth 250 dollars (people in Detroit once felt the same )
8:07 It will be a while before the multi million dollar homes get down to $250. Just what real world event would cause that? You can never admit that you’re living in a very dark fantasy world.
ReplyDeleteThe Exxon station between Wildwood shopping center and the abortion factory is also being rebuilt.
