Golden House restaurant reopens interior lobby in Bethesda

Since you mentioned Little Tavern, I'll tell the few that fondly remember that outpost of steamed sliders that there is still one place left to get them. Laurel Tavern, across from the Laurel Tastee Diner, still offers "death balls" as well as very good donuts. If you are nostalgic for Little Tavern burgers, it's worth the 35-minute drive.
