Assault at downtown Bethesda bus stop


Montgomery County police responded to a report of a 2nd-degree assault at a bus stop in downtown Bethesda Friday morning, May 19, 2023. The assault was reported at a bus stop in the 4900 block of Battery Lane at 7:43 AM.

    Ride-On or Trolley (Circulator)? Whitehall end or closer to Harris Teeter? -- If this was indeed directly in front of my building, "I'ma gon' do what that dude in Baltimore been doing at the bus stop standing guard sentry..."

      4900 block is by the trolly trail. Likely the circulator bus stop.

  6. @957 Somebody spanked an unruly child at the park. I wouldn't be surprised. I've seen a few youngsters cursing at the top of their lungs at that park that I'd spank if they were mine to spank. Don't get me started on the screamers too. There is a vocal pitch that should be outlawed just like gas leaf blowers.
